The overall supervision of the project will be conducted by two professors:
- Prof. dr. ir. B. Jonkman is the Dutch professor who provided initial contact for us with Texas A&M University Galveston. He is the professor of the department of Hydrualic Engineering at the Technical University Delft and specialized in flood defense and flood management.
- Prof. dr. B. Merrell is professor at the Oceanography department at Texas A&M University. He is also the founder of the Ike-Dike concept, where he is investigating the possibility for regional storm suppression barrier near Galveston.
Next to the mentioned supervisors every department in the group will be supervised. This includes for the Hydraulic Engineering, Construction Management & Engineering and Transport, Infrastructure & Logistics:
- The Hydraulic department will be supervised and reviewed by ir. A. van der Toorn. He is from the department of hydraulic structures at TU Delft and he was involved in the project around Galveston.
- Construction Management and Engineering will be supervised by drs. M. Leijten, specialist on Process and Project Management, and drs. ir. J. Verlaan, who will review the financial part.
- For Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics dr. J. Annema will provide feedback. He is assistant professor in transport policy analysis at TU Delft
